  • Spring Concert with Mrs Donnelly

    Fri 29 Mar 2019

Friday 29th March saw our annual Spring Concert take place at the Village Hall.

30 pupils from Years 1 to 6 took part in this very enjoyable evening. The appreciative audience enjoyed music from a variety of different genres; classical, folk, traditional, jazz, musical theatre and rock and pop music.

Children performed with total confidence and joy. It was lovely to see their composure and love of playing and singing.

Parents, teachers and friends of the school were so impressed by their talents and their vitality.

We would like to thank everybody who came along to support the Concert and also the Village Hall committee for organising the Pizza Event at the end of the night; we think a lot of families enjoyed the added bonus!

  • Vale Choir Performance

    Fri 15 Mar 2019

A huge well done to the Year 3 children from Oak class for their engaging and entertaining performance at the Vale Choir concert this week.

Every one of them behaved beautifully and sang with real enthusiasm - Mrs Hopkins was a very proud Headteacher.

A big thank you to Miss Blankley and Mrs Pascual for all their hard work teaching the children the songs and helping them to shine!

  • 10k Run for Heather

    Sun 03 Mar 2019

One of our superstar Year 3’s has raised over £1000 so far for specialist treatment for her friend, Heather.

She ran and walked 10,000 metres on Sunday 3rd March 2019 at Wollaton Hall with the support of her parents and close family friends. All her supporters gave her a guard of honour when she crossed the finishing line.

We are all incredibly proud of her, especially as it was her idea to do the run. Her compassion and selflessness is to commended.
