It is a Waltham tradition to have a yearly Maypole Fair, which is organised by our FOWs.

This year, the children from each class learnt and performed some different styles of dances. Holly Class performed some traditional maypole dances. The children had to work very hard to listen to the music and not get the ribbons tangled! Oak class showed what they had learnt in their Morris Dancing lessons. Finally, Sycamore Class performed their modern dance which they had created with Miss Cheryl.

After the dancing, there were lots of stalls, games and even hotdogs to enjoy.
