The event brought the whole school community together for a fun-filled day of running, walking and getting covered in colour, while raising an incredible £480 for the school and pre-school.

Mrs Copeland, Senior Teacher, said:

"It was fantastic to see our pupils, families and staff come together and enjoy such a fun and memorable event. The Colour Run was a brilliant way to bring our school community together while raising funds that will make a real difference to our children. We are incredibly grateful to FOWS for all the time and effort they put into organising the event, and to everyone who took part and supported it."

Mrs S Pearson, Senior Teacher, added:
"A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the Colour Run possible. We are incredibly grateful to our generous sponsors and to all the families who donated and supported the event. Their kindness and generosity, alongside the hard work of FOWS, made it such a special day for our school community."

All proceeds will be invested back into the Waltham-on-the-Wolds school and onsite pre-school community, helping to provide new equipment, exciting opportunities and memorable experiences for children.

Rachel Smith, Chair Person of Friends of Waltham School, said:

"We were delighted with how the Colour Run came together. Seeing so many children, families and staff getting involved, having fun and supporting our school was wonderful. There was certainly a lot of colour, laughter and energy! We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated and helped make the event possible."

A special thank you also goes to the Friends of Waltham School (FOWS) for their hard work, time and dedication in organising the event. Their commitment to creating fantastic opportunities for pupils and families makes a real difference to school life.

And, of course, thank you to everyone who took part, donated and supported the event. It was certainly lots of fun – but also required lots of energy!
