Enabling children to flourish and succeed

Uniform Information

OUR SCHOOL UNIFORM

Our children are proud of the sense of identity and belonging that wearing a school uniform provides, and we are passionate about maintaining a uniform that they can wear with pride.

School uniform plays an important role in supporting the ethos of our school. It helps every child feel part of our school community, encourages a sense of belonging, promotes positive behaviour, and fosters unity. Uniform also helps reduce social pressures around clothing choices, allowing children to focus on learning and friendships. Just as importantly, our children tell us they value looking smart and representing their school with pride.

Sweatshirts, cardigans, polo shirts and T-shirts featuring the embroidered school logo are available to purchase from www.myclothing.com.

We also recognise the importance of keeping school uniform affordable. While logo items are available, there is no requirement to purchase branded clothing. You are welcome to buy non-logo items such as trousers, skirts and white polo shirts from any retailer of your choice. Similarly, plain red jumpers or cardigans without the school logo are perfectly acceptable as an alternative to the branded versions.

P.E. Kit

  • Red t-shirt.
  • Plain black shorts (no logo's if possible).
  • Plain black joggers for colder days (no logo's if possible).
  • Red sweatshirt / hoodie.
  • Socks.
  • Plimsolls/trainers for indoors.
  • Trainers for outdoors.
  • Draw string bag.

For some clubs/lessons your child may require football boots, shin pads and mouth guards for enhancing health and safety; parents are advised when details of clubs are released.

Swimming Kit (Year 3-6)

Swimming costume (one-piece) or trunks (no swim shorts).

2 towels: one to dry body and hair; one to stand on.

Waterproof swimming bag.

Book bags are also available from www.myclothing.com

School shoes should be sensible black; no trainers, strappy or open toed sandals or croc sandals allowed due to health and safety in school and on the playground.

Please help us by clearly labelling all your child’s clothes and other school items.  It is very difficult to identify items that look the same. We are always very sad that bags of lost clothes are never claimed – it is such a waste of parents’ money and resources.

Help to purchase school uniforms

We recognise that the cost of uniform can be too expensive for some parents so we encourage you to let us know, as we may have a selection of second-hand items that have been donated. Alternatively, there are a number of websites who offer grants to support with purchasing uniform, for example:
