‘Let your light shine.’ Matthew 5:16

Enabling children to flourish and succeed

Christmas Carol Service

12 December 2017

On Tuesday 12th December we invited our parents to come and take part in our Christmas Carol service.

This was a whole school performance, with every class having a starring role. We all sang traditional carols, such as, Ding Dong Merrily on High and We Three Kings. Then, each class put on a dance performance. Holly Class, danced to ‘Frosty the Snowman’, Oak Class, boogied to ‘Rocking around the Christmas tree’ and Sycamore Class, put on a very energetic ‘Charleston’ performance. Beech Class also acted out the traditional story of the Nativity, with a beautiful solo from one of our younger girls.

Between each carol, Mrs Donnelly and her amazing musical performers put on some outstanding performances of famous pieces of Christmas music. Some children sang, while others played the piano. All the parents were amazed at the very talented children in our school.

It was a fantastic evening, with all the parents joining in with the carols.

After the show, the Governors presented their Governor Trophy to Harry, for his hard work and positive attitude to learning.

Thank you to all who came to watch and for donating over £200 in the retiring collection for the church.
