Oak class
Welcome to Oak class for all of our year 3 and 4 children.
In Oak class we are all amazing! Children learn best when they are happy and, in our class, there are plenty of opportunities for the children to share their many talents, gifts and skills. It is a class where we all love to have fun whilst learning and help each other to become the best that we can. Living out our school moto “Let your light shine” is what happens best within our classroom.
Everyday we have Literacy and Maths lessons developing our core skills and knowledge. Drama, hot-seating and the great outdoors is used to provide the children with enriched opportunities to bring their learning to life. We encourage all the children to persevere when they find things tricky as this is what helps to make us better learners and equip us for life.
Our afternoons are filled with learning about History, Geography, R.E. Music, ICT, Science, Dance, P.E and so much more. We strive to make each lesson as stimulating, enjoyable and challenging, reflecting children’s increasing maturity as we can.
As a team we are always very appreciative of all the support our children’s parents provide. If you ever need to talk to any member of the Oak Class team of staff then please don’t hesitate to talk to us either at the end of the day or by arranging an appointment via the school office. Sometimes parents may have a quick question or need to seek clarification on something; in these circumstances parents may wish to drop a message to the team via SeeSaw. We will always aim to get back to you as soon as possible.
