Goodbye Year 6 Leavers
14 July 2017
We sent our Year 6 off in style with pizza, games and sports on the field, including a slip-n-slide water.
The children put together a beautiful Leaver’s Service, attended by friends and family, with prayers led by Revd John. Individuals played piano, flute and violin and sang a number of hymns and songs that made us all teary-eyed. They shared memories of their time at Waltham and predicted what each would do in the future; this ranged from becoming famous Olympians to novelists, football superstars to sparkly head teachers!
We all agree, they have been amazing children to work with and we will all miss their quirky personalities. We wish them good health, good luck and lots more fun to come.
