On Thursday 20th December the whole school went down to St Mary Magdalene Church in the village to celebrate Christingle as part of our Messy Fiesta.

We began the service with a warm welcome from Mike Alexander who taught us the meaning of Christingle and taught us what the Christingle Orange represents.

The children were organised in to groups and each took part in making Christingle crafts. All the children and parents made their own Christingle which was then lit. We then all formed a circle in Church whilst Mike Alexander said a prayer.

We had a lovely afternoon, thank you to all the staff and Mike for organising this wonderful event.
