On Monday 12th December we invited our parents and families to come and see our Christmas production at Waltham Church - Lights, Camel, ACTION!

The show was about the Bethlehem Broadcasting Company who were recording a dazzling dance show to celebrate the special occasion of Jesus’ birth with a jam-packed cast of nativity celebrities. The cast included personalities, including some funky camels and a disco stars, who had come together again to recall their roles in the miraculous story of the birth of our saviour, Jesus Christ.

It was a Christmas celebration like never before, with dance styles ranging from tango to line dancing and ballet to disco. The judges gathered their scorecards, the dancers were waiting in the wings and the audience had all assembled for the re-telling of the Nativity like never before seen at our school.

The show was a real success and lots of people commented how special it was.

This was a whole school performance, with every class having a starring role, as at Waltham-on-the-Wolds we believe every child deserves a chance to shine. The show included, shining stars, traditional nativity characters, dancing sheep and not forgetting our Funky Camels.

It was a fantastic evening, thank you to all who came to watch and who helped make some special memories for our children and their family.
