The sun came out for our Sports Day this year.

The whole school got into their house colours of red, blue, yellow and green to compete for points. Each team took part in solo and team events - from sprint races and javelin to water relay. Even the grown-ups got a turn at the tug-of-war. Even though the dads were very competitive, the mum won! It must've been their glittery face-paints that did the trick!

Many of the parents stayed to have a picnic, then we had a wonderful afternoon with games of football, playing games and bouncing on the bouncy castle and slide. We even had a disco dome this year.

We ended our wonderful sports day with well-deserved an ice lolly.
