Enabling children to flourish and succeed

Waltham-on-the-Wolds Primary School Pupil Raises Funds for Life-Saving Equipment

A big-hearted pupil, Bruno, from Waltham-on-the-Wolds CE Primary School, has completed an incredible running challenge to raise money for life-saving equipment for his village school — inspiring classmates, teachers, and the local community.

Bruno set himself the challenge to raise funds for equipment that could one day save lives within the school.

His determination and community spirit captured the hearts of many, with generous donations helping him reach — and surpass — his fundraising goal.

Neil Bardsley, Executive Head Teacher, praised Bruno’s remarkable achievement, saying:

“We are so proud of Bruno and the example he has set for others. His dedication, energy, and generosity truly reflect our Trust values of Ambition, Success, and Equity. What a champion! Bruno’s efforts have brought our community together and shown what can be achieved when we work with purpose and compassion.”

The money raised will go towards vital equipment designed to enhance the school’s ability to respond swiftly in emergencies, providing reassurance and safety for pupils, staff, and families.

Bruno’s challenge not only raised funds but also inspired a wave of positivity throughout the school and village.

His story is a shining example of how young people can make a real difference through determination, kindness, and ambition.
