On the 9th October, two Year 6 children went with Mrs Hopkins to Tesco in Melton Mowbray to donate 33 harvest boxes for their food.

The boxes were beautifully decorated by the children and made a lovely display in the entrance.

The food will be delivered to Leicester to support families in need and the homeless. The gratitude that was shown by the Tesco workers was amazing and unexpected by both the children and Mrs Hopkins.

The children used two trolleys to take the food into Tesco’s from the car and made two trips. We would like to thank all the children and their parents for donating the boxes to support others in our community.
